Three new food outlets will open at Bristol Airport in December with a fourth scheduled to open next spring.
The new outlets are the result of a seven month development project and a tender process for the food and drink outlets.
Warrens Bakery, EAT and Barburrito are due to open in December 2018 with Frankie & Benny’s opening in spring 2019.
Warrens Bakery claims to be the world’s oldest pasty maker and one of the UK’s top three craft bakers. EAT, established more than 20 years ago in London, will offer homemade soups, sandwiches, salads and hot pots while Barburrito serves Mexican street food.
Bristol will be Frankie & Benny’s seventh airport outlet.
Kate Ridgers, head of commercial development at Bristol Airport said: “After market research and passenger feedback we know passengers start their trip as soon as they arrive at the airport. We wanted to offer a wide selection of restaurants and bars with an extended choice of menus including children’s and special dietary requirements both in the check-in area and departure lounge.”
Bristol Airport is the ninth largest airport in the UK and the fifth largest airport outside London. In 2017 over 8 million passengers used the Airport with planning approvals now in place for 10 million passengers a year.
