Charity Bike Ride in memory of Neil Tuttiett, dec’d
London to Paris Charity Bike Ride in aid of Cancer Research UK
Two staff members of St Andrews Primary School, Julie Mayo and Claire Hurst are raising money for Cancer Research UK by cycling from London to Paris to raise money in memory of Neil Tuttiett , ex headmaster of their school who died suddenly last summer. Julie & Claire said “we both decided we needed a challenge and wanted to raise money for a charity close to our hearts!! So we decided to aim big and set ourselves a goal of a long distance bike ride whilst also raising money for Cancer Research UK! We are doing this challenge in memory of Neil and also of others near and dear to us who have lost their fight, those who are still fighting and to try and help fewer and fewer people have to take on the fight in the future. It’s not going to be easy but compared to what friends and family have faced and are facing it’s a challenge we’re determined to take on. We start on Wednesday 25th July and complete the ride on Saturday 28th July……. Read more
