The fundraising group for Congresbury’s new village hall (CVH) are getting together with Clevedon Salerooms to hold a special valuation event on 27th February to identify auction lots and they hope to raise thousand of pounds for the new village hall by auctioning the donated items.
Members of the public can bring along any unwanted but interesting and saleable, antique or vintage objects to the new Community Coffee Shop on Broad Street to be valued on the spot by a Clevedon Salesrooms valuer. There will be a £3 valuation charge for one item with subsequent item valuations at just £1.00 each and no fees will be charged if the item/s are put up auction. All valuation and sale proceeds will go directly to CVH funds as Clevedon Salerooms have generously agreed to waive their fees for the CVH lots which will be auctioned in their sale on 21st March.
The valuation event will take place from 2-5pm on Wednesday 27th February but CVH Ltd are happy to receive any suitable items for the auction at any time and can arrange collection and storage before the valuation and auction events.
