This week, two officers attended a trailer that had been dumped in Hallen. After some investigation by the brilliant officers, it transpired that the trailer had been sold to Michael Eavis of Worthy Farm Glastonbury some years ago. The trailer now belongs to his farm manager and had been stolen the day before.

When the farm manager and his wife collected the trailer, they explained they had owned it for 20 years and it had even been used five years ago by Banksy for an event at Glastonbury! I’m glad officers were able to reunite the couple with the stolen trailer, especially as the week before the Eavis’ and their team kindly donated thousands of litres of hand sanitiser, gloves and face masks to police and NHS workers.
