Next week (13th to 17th April) the A370 will be completely closed during the day (7am to 7pm) in Backwell.
This will affect drivers and especially users of the X1 bus service.
The official diversion is via the A38 from Bristol coming into Congresbury from Langford along the Brinsea Road. And the other way round going to Bristol. Several village bus stops will not be served by the X1 for that week.
There will be a similar closure in June but we’ll post info on that nearer the time!
